ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

The Toronto Jazz Orchestra, founded in 1998, is an 18‑piece ensemble dedicated to showcasing major jazz composers while championing Canadian arrangers. Their repertoire spans classic swing to cutting‑edge contemporary works, performed at leading venues and festivals across Ontario. For this special performance, the TJO joins forces with acclaimed vocalist, educator, broadcaster, and JUNO nominee Heather Bambrick, celebrated for her dynamic blend of artistry and humour. Together, they honour the legacy of big band music through a vibrant mix of standards and original compositions.
